Microsoft to Launch Visual Studio 2008 on Feb 27, 2008 in Los Angeles

Microsoft has announced the launch of much awaited Visual Studio 2008 along with SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 coming Feb 27, 2008 in Los Angeles. Scott has mentioned in his blog that Visual studio 2008 will be available for MSDN Subscribers to download and people to buy a few weeks or months before the launch which I am hoping to be by this December or Jan 2008.

Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2(final Beta) is expected to release in few weeks this summer(Early August). Visual Studio 2008 is coming with loads of features like improved JavaScript intellisense, LINQ capabilities, Multi-Targeting Support, Improved Performance when switching between HTML & Design views(think they have completely replaced the ASP.NET/HTML Designer in VS2008 with about 3.5 years of coding), CSS improvements, SilverLight Support(haven’t seen much about this so far) and lots of other features as well.
